Dear Wanderers,
After two back to back days riding, resting was definitely on my mind. Thats exactly what i did. After waking up in my dorm, i realised my body needed rest. So i settled myself on the couch of my hostel and prepared for the day to come.
Morning team meetings
As usual, my mornings were full of calls and meetings. The network here ar GoStops Jaipur is decent but can lag from time to time. So you might want to carry a dongle if you are someone who doesn't have the patience to work on sluggish networks. As i got started, i realised i was not alone, there were two more souls who were "workationing" along with me. One an IT sales rep & another a social media specialist with an ed-tech startup. The vibe was calm. I ordered food from Zomato and did not step out at least in the first half of the day.
Sleeping through the afternoon
For the ones who know me well, also know how much i love my afternoon nap. One thing that i found weird though was, at GoStops, the AC remains shut from 11 am to 8pm (even if you have booked an AC dorm bed!) I found this policy to be quite stupid because in Jaipur, heat in the afternoon gets crazy. This was also a reason, i did not want to make any afternoon plans.
